Executive Director's Message
Welcome! Thank you for visiting the Rowan University Foundation website.
This is an exciting time for Rowan University. More than 4,500 friends and supporters demonstrated their belief in the University and its tradition of educating tomorrow’s leaders through their contributions to the Foundation.
Highlights from the past year include:
- The Foundation transferred over $8.3 million to the University to support academic programs and initiatives.
- The strength of Rowan’s academic programs is reflected in the increased interest by prospective students, as evidenced by an 8 percent increase in applications last year.
- This year’s student body is the largest ever, consisting of over 11,000 undergraduate and graduate students who represent 39 states and 19 foreign countries.
- In June 2009, Rowan University and Cooper University Hospital embarked on a pioneering partnership to develop Cooper Medical School of Rowan University, a partnership that will change the face of healthcare and education in the State.
- The College of Engineering is honoring the milestone of 10 years of graduates with “Celebration 2010,” a year-long celebration of the achievements of Rowan Engineering.
Even in light of challenging times, the Foundation remains committed to strengthening the University and providing students with exceptional educational opportunities. Support from our loyal and generous friends continues to forge strong partnerships for the future.
